Sister Veronica JonesPastor's Wife, Children's Ministry Director, Women'sMinistry Director
Veronica (Ronnie) Jones is currently an elementary teacher with Nacogdoches ISD and has taught for a total of nineteen years. She grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School of Performing Arts. She continued her education at Knoxville College, a historical black college in Knoxville, Tennessee where she received a degree in Communications. Shortly after college, she met and married Rod N. Jones, who later received his doctorate in ministry and is now the pastor of Nacogdoches Bible Fellowship. Ronnie and Dr. Rod have three boys and one girl, and have been married for 20 years. It wasn’t until after marriage that Ronnie realized where God wanted to use her for His glory. She returned back to school to receive her teaching certification in Early Childhood Education from TWU. In addition to teaching children, she has spent the past fourteen years ministering and teaching women. There are two personal truths that she shares with women that describe her, “Been there, done that…let me tell you how God got me through it.” And, God will never leave you nor forsake you. She is excitedly serving as the director of the Women’s Ministry at Nac Bible. Since January 2019, she has stepped up and helped take the Children’s Ministry to its next level serving as the director.
